Hello,
I’m alix.
Based in Atlanta, I am currently working at Imagine Exhibitions, as the Associate Director of Graphic Design, creating magic all over the world
for Harry Potter: The Exhibition.
Brought on during the Pandemic, I’m the last member of the original creative team that brought the show to life for the World Premier at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia. Since then I have directly contributed to the opening of Atlanta, New York, and Boston; Vienna, Paris, Barcelona, Munich, and Madrid; Macau; and Sao Paolo.
My responsibilities have included developing the overall look and feel
for the Exhibition’s visual identity system, developing all of the signage
and way-finding, wall and floor graphics, stained glass, windows and exterior marquees, digital assets for all user interfaces, client presentations and workshops, collaborating with the copywriter, working with the marketing, operations, production, and retail teams, prop production, being in direct communication with vendors, site visits, design management, art direction, load-in and load-out, and traveling to install 5 of the openings.
Previously, I was the lead designer at the XD Agency, designing live experiences around the country for Porsche Cars of North America; Visual Designer at SapientRazorfish; and a Junior Designer at the Coca-Cola Company. I have also worked on a freelance basis for companies such as Fitzgerald and Co., HotHouse Inc., Czarnowski, Public School, Atlantic Station, Chick-fil-A, Stag and Hare, Delta SkyClub, Sublime Donuts in Thailand, and The Bannister Foundation.
My work was selected by Jessica Hische to be featured in CMYK Magazine, published on the Dieline for LeBron James’ Sprite 6Mix Marketing, and purchased by Sublime Donuts to be used in their Thailand store. I was
also nominated for an Impact Award for Contributing to Corporate Culture
at SapientNitro.
